We are off to a great start and this year we are focussing on literacy. Our goal this year is for each child to make one year's growth in their reading level. We will begin by individually testing each child to find their reading level. We will then take the information and begin looking at each student's literacy needs. Literacy is made up of comprehension, fluency, vocabulary and phonics. Reading with your child will strengthen all of these areas and this will help your child to make that years growth in their reading level. Please read with your child daily.
